Summers are characterized as hot and humid, with winters being characterized as cold, with the heaviest snows typically arriving late in the season. Spring and Fall in this region are like none other with flowers and trees turning the landscape into magnificent dream scape of coloration. Average temperatures range from 29° F in January to 78° F in July. Precipitation in Kansas City averages 38.21 inches of rain and 20 inches of snow.
